Certified red Maradol
This is a vigorous and productive papaya whose epidermis turns yellow-orange when it is ripe. It has a red flesh, which is very sweet and soft. Plants are highly productive and their fruits weigh between 1.5 and 2.6 kilograms. These plants can acclimate to a wide variety of soils.The most important characteristics of papaya seed are:

Other Varieties
Yellow Maradol
This yellow flesh fruit can be storaged for long periods of time because of its thick covering. It contains approximately 12 brix degrees and fruits weigh between 1.2 and 2.5 kilograms. This papaya variety flowers approximately 40 days after planting out. The floral composition consists of: 66% hermaphrodite plants, 33% female plants, 1% others (male, summer hermaphrodite, etc.) 90% of hermaphrodite plants are perfect.
Gold
This yellow flesh fruit weighs between 2.8 to 3.8 kilograms. It contains approximately 12.5 brix degree. This hybrid is a vigorous plant having tolerance to Cercosporiosis (Cercospora spp). This variety has an early flowering, which comes approximately 45 days after planting out, and it is highly productive.
Hawaiian Solo Sunrise
This reddish fruit has a sweet soft flavor. It contains approximately 13-brix degree and fruits weigh between 400 and 500 grams. Generally, this variety has a pear shape with a small neck on the leaf stalk. It is possible to use a growing method in order to improve size, shape, sweetness and total production.
Hawaiian Solo Sunset

Hawaiian Kapoho Solo
This sweet orange-yellow flesh fruit has a delicious flavor. It contains approximately 13-brix degree when it is ripe. Its epidermis is very strong and firm, hence transportation is easy. Fruits weigh between 1 pound (450 grams). In young trees, the fruit is usually longer and has a pear shape, but slightly more square in comparison with Hawaiian Solo Sunrise variety. This fruit is packed with the stalk downwards because it keeps this variety in good condition. Hawaiian Kapoho Solo Papaya has become a prominent fruit for exports.
Waimanalu X-77
This orange skin fruit has a delicious flavor. It contains approximately 14-brix degree and fruits can weigh up to 1.5 pounds. This variety is humidity tolerant. It is usually sold in Hawaiian local markets.
Tropical Dream
This pear-shaped variety is similar to Kapoho and Puna. It has a yellow-orange flesh, which is very sweet and also contains approximately 13-brix degree when color appears on the external part of the fruit. Fruits can weigh up to 1.5 pounds. This papaya growing is tolerant to Phytophtohra and also has acclimated to high humidity. When it is green, it contains a great amount of papain.
Red Lady # 786
Vigorous and productive, this variety is tolerant to Papaya ringspot virus. Plants begin to produce fruits when reaching between 60 to 80 centimetres height and they can produce 30 fruits at every period of fructification. This is a sweet flesh fruit which contains approximately 13-brix degree and whose fruits weigh between 1.5 and 2 kilograms.
Known You # 1
This variety is tolerant to papaya ringspot virus and its early production plants are robust. Its sweet yellow-flesh fruits are long and can weigh between 1.6 to 3 kilograms.
Tainung # 1
Vigorous and highly productive, this red flesh Papaya can weigh up to 1 kilogram. Its skin turns green-yellow when it is ripe.
Tainung # 2
This red-orange flesh hybrid produces long fruits, which can weigh up to 1.1 kilograms. Its storage life allows it to be sold in local markets. Its female fruits are rounded and hermaphrodite ones have a peak-shape.
Tainung # 3
Highly productive dwarf fruit plants whose long yellow-orange fruits can weigh up to 1.3 kilograms. When fruits are ripe, their skin turns yellow. Hermaphrodite plant fruits are pear-shaped and those coming from fruiting female plants are round and oblong.
Puna Solo
This sweet yellow-orange flesh variety is similar to Kapoho and it can contain 13 brix degrees. A pear-shaped fruit which can weigh approximately 1 pound whose rough skin is softer than Kapoho's one. This papaya productive growing is Phytophtohra-resistant and it can well acclimate to humidity.
Strawberry S-X
This is a new variety, grown in Hawai, whose sunrise-like flesh is reddish. Its sweet fruits weigh between 1.25 to 1.5 pounds. This highly productive variety is wet soil-resistant such as Puna Papaya.
