Production costs
Our enterprise presents you the cost of producing a Maradol papaya hectare (designed by us). All materials were quoted in February, 2000.
All harvest expenses of harvest are considered as well as preventive, pest and disease control measures more frequent in papaya growing. The cycle is 2 months at tree nursery, 7 months of growth and 9 months of production.
The cost was defined for average conditions of Mexico, but it is important to stress that the cost can vary according to the particular aspects of each zone and the technological level which is used.
